Glentress Festival of Running
A quick note to say what an excellent event this was. I got a very good feeling about the whole place and so recommend everyone run it next year!
Organised by our very own Pete and Elsie, it comprised two serious races (a 7.5mi. and a 4.5mi.) and one fun run afterwards. Mark Rigby won (long) in an impressive time around 49 mins. I managed just under 64 mins, but this included tripping up on a protruding tree root and fracturing two ribs!
Full results on the SHR website. Westies results:
1 Mark Rigby (Comics) - 49.09
2 James MacAllister (u/a) - 50.46
13 Stefan Gorgas - 61.14
19 Blair Millen - 63.59
26 Drew Turnbull - 75.58
