Only did one race this weekend.

A real Lakes gem.

71 runners at the start line. I was first out the field and lead the way into the system of country lanes before the hill proper. Dropped a few places, but had the leaders in my sights up to the summit - not that I had any hope of catching them. Fast runnable descent. Dropped one more place on the way down before hitting the country lanes - tiring in the heat. Final sprint down the road and back into the show field.

This was only 2nd running of the race. The first 28 runners beat last year's record!
