Glen Rosa Horseshoe

What a day, Arran at its best, sunny all the way, bit too warm. What about this man Ronnie, another great run, Murdo 1st M50 and 1st Team.

1 Ronnie 2.36.46

2 Adam Anderson solway 2.40.30

3 Nick Bulloss 2.47.52

7 Murdo 3.00.43

8 Don 3.07.10

11 Jill Tate carnethy 3.27.12 1st female

23 Drew 4.23.09

24 Steffen 4.24.58 ( gave blood on Friday)

25 Ana 4.29.31

Nice one Ronnie. Glad to see you found your way off the top this time! My performance, like Steffen's, was buggered by giving blood when I did this race. The only difference was that I gave blood during the race, starting half-way down Goat Fell and continuing in a steady trickle until the end.

Was that Westies first team or women first team? As Ana is the only Westieburd mentioned, I presume it was the lads. Congrats all round.

Drew Turnbull

Thanks to Drew and Damon for the kind words...

But no thanks for keeping me running for a whole TWO minutes extra. Aye, Dave announced the results erroneously, it was really 2.34.46. Another lovely day on the hills confirming something I'd suspected for a long time: I can only get enthusiastic about races when the weather is really good. The few races I have managed to win have nearly all been completed running bare-backed, as on Saturday. More importantly I managed to pass my first grade at kung fu on Sunday. Hooray!
