Event - Sports Day & Fell Race
After another morning of herding sheep in the mud (?!), the sun blazed through to greet the start of the fell race. 2 miles, 1000ft, several spectators, several dogs, numerous sheep, and 28 runners ...
2 miles...little legs trying to go like billy-o...hanging in there, hanging in ... finish, and collapse. Well beaten by numerous old crocks (inc. Don Reid), a couple of frightened sheep, and out-sprinted by a young child from Lothian on the line.

Should have stuck to the egg and spoon race. Good sports day Dick Wall - excellent fun, especially for the kids...
Bad run.
