In Manuel's absence (he's still drying out!) attached are results from last night's race - the first in this year's bog, burn and bathtub series. For those that had the sense to avoid it, well done! Epic conditions: perpetual downpour.

With thanks to the many brave souls for assisting (Pat, Lesley, Gillian, Donald, helping; Brian, John, Keith, Charlie, Isabel marshalling/sweeping; Graham and Chris), the lunatic Charlie for marking the course (with flour - self-erasing variety), and the 47 nutters who turned out to run (Ronnie came through from Edinburgh thinking 'it might be a bit drier' . . ).

One silver lining from standing at the finish : it's not Manuel's handwriting I'm now having to decipher (though actually in the cold dry light of day it might just as well be!)
