The Devil's Burdens

Due to Adrian Davis having just started a world tour before the race, results were slower than usual and no splits were available this year but no grudge against another great race day out, organised by Fife AC secretary Frank McLaren.

I must thank all those who took part. All those phone calls and hiccups are actually worth it when I see the dozens of yellow and black vests charging over the hillside (sorry Dave R. - I'll listen to your route choice next time!). Hard lines to our vets team; just pipped by Dundee Hawks who fielded a few of their super-dooper road runners who other wise wouldn't touch a hill race with a barge pole. So therefore in my book they don't count and Westies vets A team won! Also, the wummin battled all the way against those Carnethy underfed and steroid fuelled females. At least that's my theory why they beat our lassies! Well done just the same. As long as all enjoyed the event - the result is secondary.
