Eagle Crag

This was a great race. Joe and myself were the only westies at this. The conditions were ideal. A very friendly race with mainly locals this year. it was very well marshalled and marked so no worries about getting lost! A very steep start instantly and just as steep descent over the other side of the crag. I enjoyed the west highland way track in the middle and managed to gain some speed and pass one. You then climb back up the crag but not to the summit on the way back so just as steep with a great decent. My first time doing this race and would recommend it. I managed 2nd FV40 with a time of about 1hr 26. So i was pleased with that.
