This may be a small race but it is a classic. Even the plethora of midges couldn't spoil the enjoyment of this race. Alistadair Anthony won in 27:17. There were 7 Westie men in attendance.
6th Alan Gilkison 31:27
11th Graham Kelly 32:18
12th Owen O'Neill 32:29
14th Don Reid 33:00
17th John Denovan 33:26
22nd Murdo Macleod 35:51
34th John Quinn 39:48
Although I was last Westie I was 3 minutes faster than last year so happy days. Well done Murdo, Sixty in 3 weeks! No Way.
There were actually 8 westies in attendance as I am sure I heard the dulcet tones of Brian Brennan shouting encouragement on the ascent. Cheers Brian, Nice headgear. JQ

The headgear was nothing to do with midgies, it was so nobody would recognise him!!

Dinae be nasty ...poor Brian had picked up an injury painting ! I assumed he had fallen off a ladder, but he assured me he was on the level ground when it happened !
