Glasgow parkrun #127
My parkrun message for Saturday 18th June below. I haven't run under 20 mins in a 5k for 10 years. It definitely pays to be a Westie.
"Congratulations on completing your 5th parkrun and your 5th at Glasgow today.
You finished in 12th place and were the 10th gent out of a field of 249 parkrunners and you came 3rd in your age category VM50-54.
Congratulations on setting a new Personal Best by 00:43 seconds at Glasgow parkrun!
Your best time this year remains 00:19:42."
Well done to Jen Sheridan, the only other Westie in the run, who ran a 22:54 just outside her PB.
I MAY CELEBRATE WITH SOME CHIPS TONIGHT. JQ

I've just had a look at the age-graded results, and I see that you're the third-highest placed Westie when age is factored in, behind only Chris and Niall. Very impressive to manage to get ahead of the evergreen Pauline.
