Kinnoull Hill Race 2011
18th May 2011
Bonnyman uses the power of 2 at Perth
Jamie Crowe won the race and was the only runner home in under 27 minutes, but Brian Bonnyman got 2 prizes. With 2 Westies present, BB improved on last year's 5th spot to come home second, thus bagging the runner up prize and first veteran slot.
On a fine sunny evening, Orr was 2(!!) slow, nonetheless trundling round approximately 40 seconds quicker than last year.

5 races in 4 weeks, Many Mannys. Whangie, Dumyat, Atkins 3k, Cornalees, and Kinnoull - my best run of hill (and road) racing participation since I started in 2007. I was way-laid by some loose Corbettry in 2009 though :-)
As for Brian getting out more, drop by The Knock in Crieff next week and see the man in action...

Well done BB the Younger ......and faster, much faster. Sorry I wasn't there to see it. Good to see that the authOrr is still running and hasn't yet managed to find another excuse to see the doctOrr as his impressive fightback against hypochondria continues.

Johnston .....presumably the comment on the picture of Brian accepting his prize for 2nd place means that you are proposing a nickname for the young lad .......sorry Mr Bonnyman but from now on you are hereby christened Gollum and you have JO to thank.

Johnston well done yourself as your own time put you well up the field......just as well I wasn't running as I would have been way back several minutes behind you.....looks like your injuries are sorted

Ah, my time has been mistyped....Cap'n Chris is on the case to get it sorted. It is/was shown as 31:39 but should be 32:39 (still a 40-second PB) as I finished right after Jacqui Higginbottom.
