Blowing a gale! The run to the summit was hard into the wind and made things very difficult. My hardest battle was with Big George Reid, just as well he forgot his PB's!! He played leapfrog with me all the way to the top but after the very exciting windy run round the cairn it was always going to be me first. The wet slippy underfoot conditions made things fast and a fall would have been spectacular at that speed. I was delighted that no one passed me on the descent and well pleased with my overall postion, although everyones times were slow because of the wind.
