Rotten Calder Night Run
More like the Muddy Calder, but that didn't deter Paula, Graham and myself from donning our headtorches and getting on with it. From Calderglen Country Park we enjoyed an out and back 7.5 miles down on the riverside trail through woods, past waterfalls and ruined castles. No one took a dive into the mud, fell in the river or impaled themself on stray branches, so a success!! Great fun and more southside sojourns to follow.

Aye - a grand evening by any measure !
Cheers to JD for route finding in the mist and ghostly photographs at the end and to Paula for the great wee whooping noises when foot traction was minimal. Look forward to enticing more westies to the south.
