Lock 27 Time Trial

A good turnout of 14 runners at last night's Lock 27 Time Trial.

Dark, driech, rainy conditions added a sense of danger to the road crossings.

Thanks to Nige for the time-keeping, and well done to all the first timers.

After 4 years as a Westie, and now living closer to the run, I finally got round to trying the Lock 27 TT. Knew I'd have a tough task staying with the pack, but stuck to Nige's advice not to overdo it up the hill at Cleveden and was happy to manage an even pace from then on. Nice to get a time on the board at last!

    Good turnout!

Thanks to everybody for a great turnout - there were some cracking runs and I'm really looking forward to the Winter time trial (late Jan / early Feb) where we will likely see a lot of PBs from the new folks and perhaps a few from the regulars too ?
