Kilpatricks Hill Race 2010
2nd June 2010
An impressive turn out of 20 Westie runners, plus umpteen Westie marshals on the hill. Our new superstar signing Adam Gatens was well up the field in 4th place. The race was won by Robbie Simpson in a new record time of 42:59, knocking 8 seconds off last years record. First lady was Christina Rankin of Kilbarchan in 54:00.
Thanks as always to Christine Menhennet and her helpers for their efforts on the night, and especially Christine for going beyond the call of duty by staying up until 2:34am to email out the results.

I really REALLY enjoyed this race.
What a fab route and the downhill was an absolute hoot!
I don't think I've come running down a hill before actually grinning like an eejit.
Must go back soon for a walk and take in the views.
