A New Westie!

In June last year, Val and I signed up for our biggest challenge yet; the Iona Forlifeathon. After 9 months of very little training at all and feeling ridiculously under-prepared, we finally made it to the start line last Friday.

The gun went off at 22:30 and Iona Helen Mackie McQuater arrived weighing 7lb 7oz, and healthy and happy. Since then we've slipped a little in the Spring Sleep League, but as the Forlifeathon is a multi-year event, we're hoping to make up places in a few years' time.

Hope to see some of you soon, if we can work out how to fit each day into just 24 hours!

And of course I do approve of second name choice!

    Thanks all.

A bit early for marshalling. I think we'll just have her 'helping' at registration this year.
