Two Breweries
26th September 2009
A belated post on the Two Breweries...
For anyone who can remember that far back, it was a fine bright sunny autumnal afternoon, with a good turn out for the first race under the new management team of Pete and Elsie, who've bravely taken over the reins from Bill Sheridan, the founding father of Westies.
Anyhow, it was good weather for running. Sunny, with cooling breeze. The race was won by Scott Fraser in 2:47:30, with Megan Mowbray first lady in 3:37:39.
Five Westies ran:
10. Manny Gorman, 3:05:48
14. Chris Upson, 3:15:40
16. David Riach, 3:17:08
49. Steffen Gorgas, 3:51:09
59. Ellie Homewood, 3:58:20

Finally, a fast Fraser !! Maybe if he enters as just S.Fraser, I could claim some sneaky merits....
