Ladies in the Lakes!
The Westies Ladies have just spent a very enjoyable weekend in the Thirlmere area of the Lake District. We managed to squeeze in a wee bit of energetic activity in between marathon bouts of the infamous nattering and a fair bit of tea, wine and cake consumption (what else are weekends for??!).
Saturday we (well most of us ...!) made it up Helvellyn in very blustery conditions. Sunday was a mix, some went running along a gentle bobbling ridge and the more adventurous ventured up into the cloud again to High Raise.
A lovely weekend and many thanks to Fiona for her ideas and organisation.
