Deborah delivers results in Italian Job

Westies junior Deborah Stokoe had a brilliant run at the recent Marco Germanetto races in Susa near Turin in Italy. Deborah , having originally been selected as the reserve, was a very commendable 4th overall (only 35sec behind the winner from Russia)., with Rachel Armitage sixteenth.

Unfortunately the Junior Women's team was reduced to two and could only finish seventh.

Watch out for Deborah in the big W at some of the shorter senior races over the next few months.

Well done Deborah, showing the rest of us what we should be doing, a really good run and making us oldies jealous. Scared that I'll be beaten by you soon.
