Westies Loch Lomondside Run
A dander up the West Highland Way from Balmaha to just beyond Rowardennan and back again. Jason and I managed 3h 40m, about 20 miles; Chris and Ellie about 4hrs and 26 miles and Johnstone about 3hrs. Followed by tea and toast at Jason's.

Cheers for the photos and the company, John. Even a measly 3 hrs was enough for me after my Campsies bog-trot yesterday.
Hadn't fully appreciated how undulating the Balmaha - Rowardennan stretch of the WHW is until we ran it today. I mean, it follows the loch, so it must be flat, right??!!

Ellie and I managed to run 26.8 miles in about 4h15m from Balmaha north along the West Highland Way and back again. The return leg felt fairly gruelling and hilly. I dread to think what the running the entire WHW is going to feel like...
