Ochils 2000 Race Recce

A cracking 13 mile and 4000 feet run from Tillicoultry to Stirling University, via The Law, Ben Cleuch, Ben Buck, Ben Ever, Blairdenon and finally Dumyat. 3hrs 15mins in total. Windy and cool on top, lots of freezing bog and tussocks, and the great descent off Dumyat to Stirling Uni. Rounded off by soup and sandwiches in Alva. Present - me, Rob, Johnstone, Murdo, Dougal, Chris, Ellie.

Cheers John, nice photos from an enjoyable run.

I think we halved the average age of the customers in the tea shop/morgue after the run!

Wish i had been with you guys, it looked a fantastic run, but still stuck with this man flu thing. Hopefully will be fine for the Burdens. Is that the full race route you did or just part of it ? - i have still to recce it.

T'was a fun day out. Quite cold and windy, but clear on the tops. And the Alva grannies tea shop is always great for checking out the latest knitwear fashions.
