Rostrevor to Newcastle Relays

What a weekend. Arrived Friday evening and were split by Keith into veggies and non-veggies. Non-veggies (DC/AC/SB/MO/JR/AB/MR) decided to lay siege to veggies cottage by impersonating sheep. Non-veggies completely ignored us which probably means that they were too busy snogging and worse!! Archie should have reprimanded them - too close to the race. Anyway what were the sleeping arrangements??
Saturday - weather brill. The non-veggies had a hearty breakfast of bacon, eggs and sausage before going out to reccy the route. Boone left to visit friends and returned half paralytic later on but made the ultimate sacrifice despite great temptation. She refused to serve DC for the sake of the clubs performance the next day. The rest is history.
The mens team ran well and despite Mark setting off 7 minutes behind the leader he finished 7 minutes ahead. We absolutely annihilated the opposition.
