Crieff 10k Trail Race
15th July 2007
Lovely sunny weather in Crieff made for warm running in the race - especially on the return leg, out of the woodland shade.
The route takes you up Laggan Hill then descends forest trails, before returning alongside the River Earn.
I tried to set off steady, but somehow ended up in 2nd place at the crest of the hill. My slender lead didn't last long as I droppped back to 6th on the descent, then held onto this position for the final 6 or 7km. Ellie had a good run to finish 2nd lady in 43:42.
