The last of the 4 races in the Polaroid 10k Series
The weather started out cool and comfortable enough, but mid-race turned into scorching summer sunshine. The course starts and finishes at Loch Lomond Shores with a long steady climb and descent first half, and flatter after that.
I ran the middle part of the race with Brian Kirkwood, before moving up a few places. At around 7km I was caught by Colin McGill, and then followed Colin to pass 3 more runners in the final kilometre. Finished 30th in 35:33.
