Stronend wed run
Well if you weren't racing then you should have been here in Fintry for a lovely run this evening. The weather had cooled a bit since Monday's speed sess to lovely running weather, though not cool enoug to kill of the midges in the car park. A select group of 8, including 2 new Oz runners (maybe Luke and Sarah/ Susan?) who thought the website was so good they came over just to see us! Why change something as good as that?
We thought we would show them how lovely the Fintry hills can be so didn't take the most direct route up...I wasn't lost but even if I was I have only been in the club a year and only run this once, and it isn't even my fault anyway, and that Kirsty doesn't know what she's talking about 'cause she snogged Freddie behind the swimming pool...Sorry phased out a bit. Anyroad we did find the cairn by my uncanny homing sense, and came over the ridge right next to it. The descent as usual was lovely, fast and springy underfoot, this time on the obvious path. Finally a lovely pint in the Dungeon and hopefully we didn't scare off keen, fit, possible members (physios too so be nice to them you never know). Hope everyone elses night was as nice as mine! Smile!!!
