Ferry - Tunnel Run
What other club can get you your own personal ferry trip? That honour befell a (fool)hardy nine Westies last night on the infamous Ferry - Tunnel run. Having sprinted from Garscube to Yoker, Chris and his band of merry (but pretty exhausted) westies men and ladies enjoyed a starlit crossing of the Clyde. It was a welcome break before docking at Renfrew and starting an equally manic dash back to the Clyde tunnel. There we entered the pedestrian tunnel and enjoyed a plummet down to way beneath the river, before embarking on the surprisingly steep climb up out the other side. It's much easier in a car! There's no photos - Chris was going to fast and JD was too tired from his weekend exploits! See you next week for a run in the dark round Cochno - it's no normal running club this.....
