First 2 miles were mega-fast and very warm. I counted that I was lying in 10th place. The climb up onto the ridge was not too steep but running into a strong wind was hellish. I held my place until entering the forest. Dropped two places. I was really tired but kept plodding on to the final top. Had a good descent down to the forrestry road. Picked back one place because of the good grip of my Walsh boots. Picked another place after 1/2mile on forest road. Had a really strong finish left for the last 1 and 1/2 miles. Last mile was on tarmac. Another good race.
