Ben Venue Run

The dodgy weather during the day relented just before 7pm to allow a select band of brave Westies a bright, if chilly run up and down this gem of a mini-mountain in the Trossachs - me, Muffy, Dave, Hamilton, Donald, Simon and Robert. The path was its usual mix of quagmire, stream bed and occasional rocky path but we still had a fine evening's effort. The view on top were particularly good and the fresh snow on nearby mountains showed that winter was still not behind us. Those wimps who opted for a flat Glasgow run really missed out.Let's see a good turnout next week for the run in the Luss Hills.
